Job Description

We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, compassionate dental care in a supportive and professional environment. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team and help provide exceptional care to our patients.  The ideal candidate will be proficient in chairside assisting, possess excellent communication skills, and have a thorough understanding of clinical and administrative dental operations. You’ll work closely with our dental team to ensure smooth patient flow, maintain a clean and organized operatory, and deliver a comfortable experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

  • Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures, managing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort. 
  • Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment. 
  • X-Ray Imaging: Capture dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols. 
  • Patient Education: Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options. 
  • Records Management: Accurately update patient records and dental charts in EHR systems. 
  • Infection Control: Strictly follow sterilization and disinfection protocols. 
  • Appointment Scheduling: Help manage and confirm patient appointments. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support. 

Qualifications

  • Dental Assistant certification. 
  • Minimum of 2 years dental assisting experience in a clinical setting.
  • X-ray certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. 
  • Proficient in dental procedures and instrument handling. 
  • Thorough understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards. 
  • A compassionate approach to patient care and comfort. 
  • Knowledge of dental software (Open Dental experience preferred but not required)
  • Professional , reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
